Hi all my E60 wont lock or unlock from distance with remote after battery drain ,to lock it or unlock the key must be near rooftop can anyone help ? thanks. |

Antenna diversity is bad or sometimes after tinting rear windows with low quality tinting film this can happen.
I have had two cars that had a problem with diversity, after replacing module was working OK. |

In e60 there can be 4 problem of poor key fob range:
1. Broken Key fob 2. Broken Divesity module (rear window top right) 3. Poor poor contact on diversity to rear window antena 4. sometimes rear window antena broken. - most often if there is a tinting foil. |
