hi,

i installed ISTA 4.34.22.

I got two errors

1) The programming system could not be initialised. The ISTA installation may be damaged or incorrectly configured. Reinstall ISTA. If problems persist, contact local support.


2) When i try to update software of car,
Please carry out the vehicle test first.
The full scope of the work required will become available only after carrying out the vehicle test.


- I installed PSdZData_4.33.31_full under C:\EC-Apps\ISTA folder
- I reinstalled ISTA again.
- modified ISTAGUI.exe.config change line.

But no luck no

If ISTA from Sedoy don't change anything. I never have any issues with Sedoy ISTA.
Did you try with iCOM Next?

PSdZData 4.34.20 is available. Try to reinstall full Ista from Sedoy again. Run RCleaner from tools before new install.

yep, most probably something went south when installing ISTA

Are you trying to program the car with ENET over ISTA ?

Anyhow plesae follow Sedoys readme notes for registry files:

Fix "The programming system could not be initialised. The ISTA installation may be damaged or incorrectly configured. Reinstall ISTA. If problems persist, contact local support." error:

1. uninstall ISTA
2. remove all ISTA keys from registry:
a. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\BMWGroup\ISPI\ISTA
b. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\BMWGroup\ISPI\Rheingold
c. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\BMWGroup\ISPI\Rheingold
3. remove all files from ISTA installdirectory
4. reinstall ISTA

I had the same problem. Solution for was to disable the real time scan of the AV for the installation directory C:\EC-Apps\ISTA *.*
