KOpel  Opel 1.8 Bertone- Simtec - Lambda/Nox Off
Hello Dear colleagues,
can anyone help me with deactivating lambda/nox sensors on the exhaust on this car?

HW: 92066231

SW: 6586115
VIN nr.: W0L0TGF671B007082
SW ver.: MLCD101A
Engine: Z18XE
HW Ver.: SIE  011600450

I have issues with the dtc on the lambda, and changed all the sensors, also the cables are ok (checked) but the issue persist....
So I decided to remove all in the exhaust and also to turn into a STRAIGHT PIPE enjoy

Many thanks in advance.

the only error I got when scan the car is P0130 - Lmbda 1 - circuit - Permanent
As I said, changed lambda, checked and double checked the wire, and still persisist.

RE: Opel 1.8 Bertone- Simtec - Lambda/Nox Off
but you know, that without any lambda sensor the engine-ecu cant calculate how much fuel it needs to inject to the cylinder?

How do you think this should work ?!

You can "delete" the 2nd lambda-sensor maybe because it just checks the job of the first sensor. so it can run even without that 2nd.

but your engine needs always at least 1 lambda sensor that works, otherwise the air/fuel ratio is just not possible to calculate. so it will run like ass * 2

your "solution" to put a straight pipe through your exchaust is just nonesense. it solves nothing of your issues.

just some hints for your rootcause:

do you have an obd scanner? op-com or tech2 ? anything that can print live-readings of the sensors? if not.... BUY ONE otherwise you will walk in the dark and never find the real cause of it.

have you noticed that there are always TWO versions of lambda? There is the pre catalytic one and the PAST catalytic one. Believe it or not, but the have to match their possitions. otherwise it will give you fault readings.

Did you use the 100% right lambda? checked with partnumber of oem part tool? there are infinite different lambda sensors with different values. the must match the ecu 100%

do your job... do a proper fault search... instead trying to "fix" with magic steps in ecu flash.... that solves nothing in your case....
