dissable RDC on G series ?
Hello, trying to dissable RDC on G series.
I found out, that adding 265 is not possible, since it doesnt have this option.
And I dont think it will be possible to just delete 2VB and code the modules.

I found a How To, but that didnt work.

Delete 2VB and code modules and pull fuse for rdc will delete all errors ?

RE: dissable RDC on G series ?
2VB is STILL the option code for RDC, so ANY reason why it should not work???

Pulling the fuse "on G series" is very ABSTRACT question! It's much more complex matter, because in MANY G series it's shared with OTHER modules.

You missunderstood my question.

The car came with tpms error. He asked me to code out the tpms completely.

Thats why i tried the FDL coding but that didnt worked.

My question is:

If i code out 2VB from VO and then code modules to stock, will this delete the TPMS option from the car ? And also the error ?
And if the error is still present, can i pull the TPMS fuse or unplug the TPMS ecu.

SO i can totally delete the TPMS option

RE: dissable RDC on G series ?
1. Again, we are talking about "on G series" which is very ABSTRACT thing. There are too many G series cars which all are somewhat different.

2. I've seen plenty of G series cars WITHOUT 2VB which would mean that it's possible to have one without it. I'm not talking about 265. So removing it from VO and coding car to default should be possible. Well, again, SOME SPECIFIC chasses in G series may not support this.

3. Most probably you will have to unplug RDC receiver module, because as I already said, MANY cars on G series have that fuse used for MULTIPLE units (as it was on F series too). So if you pull the fuse, you will have other faults.

Thanks, will try it

In F10 that fuse is for RDC module ONLY, so this does NOT apply to most G chasses!
