Changing ZCS after engine swap
Hey!
We have a 320i convertible from 2003 and we took the 3L engine from a 330i sedan from december 2000 and built everthing in the convertible the units also exept the AIRBAG ecu. Now we cant open the top and coding is impossible because the car thinks ''Hey I'm a sedan with a roof'' The convertible uses normal VO but we built the old ECU in there know it uses ZCS. Is there somthing where I can create my own ZCS numbers? And how can I write them to the car? I will also get the optionlist from the convertible from my dealer... is out there a programm that can calcuate the ZCS? |

RE: Changing ZCS after engine swap
I used also ZCS but this little magic programm is buggy! I putted all my SA in but when I tried to code the new ZCS NCS cant code the DSC because the car has the MK60 ECU and he tryed to code MK20. I also put in the field ''Part number/Supplementary control expression'' ''alle Fzg mit ASC oder DSC MK60'' this means all cars with ASC or DSC MK60. But he didnt changed the ZCS. After I have opend E46ZST.000 from the NCSEXPRET/DATEN folder I saw this line: H MK60 N1099 00000000 0000000000000000 0002000000 1 MK60 // alle Fzg mit ASC oder DSC MK60
Then I compared with the modified ZCS and I saw that it did not added the at the 4th place from the 3rd part of ZCS the number 2 so I added it by my self. Now I try it next week and I will report soon as possible. Thanks for the advise |
