RE: Vw edc16u31 mileage change
I try with passat and read real km from ecu but when i modify it remain the same, so it not work. Now i try to get out ecu but it has 4 bolts who was cut from factory and it is hard to extract.

The only edc16 that i have done at the past was vw caddy. I did instruments first and after the ecu by obd with digiprog 4.88..I remember that it took a long time (about half hour) for digiprog to correct milleage to that ecu...

RE: Vw edc16u31 mileage change
It is not working with digiprog by obd. With edc from vw list read km and when i try to change digiprog work for 10-15 min but not make any changes. With a6 95320 not read correct mileage.

RE: Vw edc16u31 mileage change
Then you open the ecu and desolder the eeprom, make backup in case somthing go wrong, and make the changes, you cam make it with digi on the eeprom stecker smile
