I have Abrites AVDI and genuine Ford VCM2
Abruites AVDI I tested many time with GDS2 and Tech2win. No problems at all ( weel some problems there are because in the past because of some issues I bought a genuine GM MDI )
So the best for Tech2win and GDS2 is GM MDI. For newer cars GM MDI and Opell Vauxhall VCI.
Bosch Mastertech 2 should works good as well.
But in your case as Mr. pupu144 told you I also belive that there is some issues in your system.
My advice is to unsinstall everything and install everything from scratch back. Including Abdrites AVDI passthru drivers ( 12-2023 as I remember was the last one )
Ford VCM2 I tested once but I do not recomand for GDS2 ( tech2win will doesn't works with this device )

Abruites AVDI and  Ford VCM2 - for me working good with Tech2win, only with GDS2 no , tried 2 times uninstall and install from beginning ,but no lucky , maybe i do something wrong. Maybe are from step 1 to finish install instruction? Tomorrow try last time and if wont try will try buy GM MDI2.

My opinion: If you cannot make AVDI or Ford VCM2 working with GDS2 in your sytem ( the one you have now installed in your computer ) then I bet that even you will buy a GM MDI 2 ( only original because that there's no clones ) you will have the same resule "Not working"
So better reinstall everything from scratch step by step and try again. It should works.
By the way Ford VCM2 do not cover SW-CAN so forget about this for Tech2win or GDS2. Use AVDI
