Hello everyone!


I have tried to clone an Simtec 81.1 ecu with Carprog.
I readed eeprom from old and new ecu. And transfered the old eeprom content in the new ecu.

The car is doing nothing.. even no crank.

But the weirdest thing of all is that both of the eeprom readouts, the content is similar, but the offsets are completely different...

What am i doing wrong? The numbers on the ecu are the same.

Can somebody maybe take a look at the eeprom backups which i have attached??

Are you sure.that carprog readed well the eeprom content ?

I have readed it out a few times...

Everytime the same readout.

It also gives enough information to provide the right VIN, PIN, etc..

It just don't work when i copy the eeprom content from the OLD one, to the NEW one. No crank at all.

If you have already the car orig pin code , you need donor ecu pin code reset and adapt ecu with any capabletool you have

Yes use pin code reset donor ecu and from immo enter car pin code and adapt immo fucvtion(new ecu installed). remove ignition and start car
