No, after flashing you need FDL coding that it work again.

If carplay is available from factory, it will be available after flash. MGU doesnt have patched FSC i know of, so flashing wont affect carplay and android auto.

Now they tell me that it was not necessary to flash an additional SWFK.  All languages for the media menu are present without these additional packages.  Simple coding must be used.  Where is the truth?  How can I add a language to the menu?!

About truth.
To add additional LANG   - you need just code. direct mgu and conbi or  modifying FA - any way you prefer.

But if you need speech recognition for additional LANG or correct display on native LANG of address during navigation - you need flash some SWFL to MGU. This two things known for me - is only issue if you not flash and use different LANG

No acsm ECU have different hardware, number of airbag units and sometimes additional sensors, also BDC have different coming options like closing switch on passenger door that ece cars don't have

It won't be a good idea if you do not have the skills to do it. Some modules will reuquire hardware exchange. For others you will need to edit the FA in order to deploy Coding.
