RE: BMW CCC Professional Repair/Restore Flash CD's
Well, I thought I had nothing to loose after my system went to the BMW splash screen and stayed there after a failed software update.
THIS WORKS!! Slightly different to the advised procedure in that the system did some random starting up etc but I just left it alone and eventually it spat the cd out, I restarted it and it was all working. Very happy, thanks OP. |

RE: BMW CCC Professional Repair/Restore Flash CD's
What version of software did it install to the various modules in the CCC? What model series did you use it on?

RE: BMW CCC Professional Repair/Restore Flash CD's
My ccc is stuck on cycles between BMW logo and black screen. Would it be wise to try to repair it with this recovery cd? Mine is HW 12.5 .

RE: BMW CCC Professional Repair/Restore Flash CD's
If that is all it will do, it wouldn't hurt to try the CD. Burn it at the slowest speed you can on a quality CD blank.
Appears that CCCs have also had hardware failures of bad solder joints on some of the chips on the circuit board. Software won't help that. |

RE: BMW CCC Professional Repair/Restore Flash CD's
Hello all, has anyone who has successfully used this found out what software build this is? May give this a try at the weekend on my e92 as have random black screen issues with Idrive on first start of car. Isn't regular enough to be too annoying but manual reboot of I drive always seems to resolve it.
Just want to be careful that I'm not downgrading what I already have. Cheers Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk Just found this link which seems to show how to view the service menu on CCC I drive systems, might show existing software/firmware build version with a bit of luck. https://bmwnavigation.co.uk/installation/idrive-ccc/ Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk |
