RNS510 Satellites 0/0 repair
Hello,
I have a problem with RNS510. Radio unit works perfectly but there is a problem with GPS. It shows satellites 0/0. I have tried new antenna, firmware update, even change radio board. The problem persists. So after all i tried Im making conclusion: something is wrong with mainboard. Maybe someone has suggestion where else to look? |

Try to disconnect and reconnect the GPS antenna, otherwise you have to replace the antenna.

Also do not take for granted that new FAKRA from aliexpress is working. Maybe you just have bad luck and you buy a faulty antenna. That is nothing unusuall with cheap-shit electronic accessories from China. Try another one if you have it.

Also I have tried to connect to original antenna built in the car, which is working too. Its definitely mainboard problem. I have googled a lot and found one Russian reply to the similar problem that there hardware error and he knows how to fix it. But sadly no further information. |
