RE: Audi Map 2015 8R0060884CH 6.20.4
Just an update.
Did all the firmware updates today with no problems. Thanks.
Transferring the maps now to SD card and hopefully get them installed tomorrow.
Cant seem to find a green menu patch that I can download. All the ones on here come back as 0kb.
Anyone point me in the right direction?

I've installed the map updates and everything went ok. But after I ran the patch and the MMI restarted, it never came back, the screen doesn't pop-out anymore.

I tried to reset it using the 3 buttons combination, I tried to switch it on/off, I tried to lock/unlock, start the car and drive it for a while but nothing seems to work, the screen is not going up at all.

When I reset the MMI using the 3 buttons a sound can be heard, but nothing happens afterwards.

I've also take a look at it with VAG-COM and it doesn't connect on: multimedia, radio, navigation, sound system, ...

Does anyone know how to reset the system so that the screen will go up again?

Thanks a lot

What patch have you used? what is your MMI? what firmware? did you wait to "patch script's end screen"?

Seems to be a brick, you will need to recover your MMI, here the instructions

Surely you did not use the correct activator and your MMI is brick.
You will need to recover your MMI.
Here the instructions

I had 770 with 6.19 maps. I updated only the maps to 6.20.4
Then I pu put the patch from first post. I think I push some button when it was patching then the last image only flash.
Then I reb and died.

Today I made what is in the document you attached and I don't know what to do. I think I have some communication problem. I don't receive the => Sign or clear characters in putty, only crapy symbols or nothing. I tried different adapters, change the com property....
If you have any idea what should I do next please tell me.

in the first page you should be able to find the right activator for you mmi. double check is not the one for the 3gp which will brick your mmi.

RE: Audi Map 2015 8R0060884CH 6.20.4
Hey everyone,

I just got my audi last week and seeing as there are things that need an update, I wanted to see if you could answer the following questions - it does seem that you have all the know how smile

So first thing's first, my '13 sq5 euro spec comes with the mmi 3gp firmware version hn+_eu_au3g_p0662. It seems that there is no mention of this version anywhere on the web - it's either 0612/4 or 0767 (0814 doesn't seem to be available yet). So does this mean that i can go straight to 767? Or is there yet another one in between? Also, does it make sense to / is it possible to dump the current firmware packages?

Yet another question - is the vin check (as I read, there is no way to have that displayed correctly and not throwing errors once the map hactivation is used) in any way reported by audi connect once it connects to the audi service?

Thanks upfront and hope that I'm not asking questions that would get me a ban. Sometimes it's difficult to figure out what's considered leeching and what's legitimate forum usage smile

Greets!
M.
