RE: BMW Key Programing Tools
I use ACDP and Autohex. ACDP is pretty good as a chinese device, but the disadvantage is that you need to use Mobile phone (PC app works terrible as I've heard) and you need strong Wifi signal (I use repeater for that or set another phone as a hotspot). The app need to be restarted from time to time. Also you can't create key to CAS1,2 by dump but autohex can't too. Overall it's a good device that I can recommend.

Main advantage of yanhua are the adapters to CAS2,3,4 to read, write without soldering anything, so it saves time when you need to correct eeprom for example and also it's good for people that never handled soldering iron (obviously it does not require big soldering skills, but anyway it might be problematic for some people).

Autohex also isn't perfect, but anyway it is and I think it will always be better than chinese kind of tools.

Only BMW services:

Remote coding/programming - E, F, G serie
HDD change, Carplay, Screen mirroring activation
FSC pack - CIC, NBT, NBT EVO, ENTRYNAV2, MGU, KAFAS
Remote reset 8HP ISN F serie
ELV disable for CAS3, 3+

Dude I owe you !!! You saved my a** smile I always assumed that mobile app is like companion never thought that ACDP needs to be connected to mobile device and then I can connect/bond my PC application over same wifi.

I think you misunderstood my post. Forget about PC app for ACDP, because as I've heard it's total crap. If you plan to use Yanhua, then assume your only option is using mobile phone ACDP app in configuration as below:

Mobile phone +
*Sitting next to router or
* Using repeater (you can use for example Xiaomi usb repeater with powerbank for convenience) to have a good signal strength or
*Using second phone as a hotspot so on your first phone (where you have ACDP app installed) connect to your second phone Wifi

RE: BMW Key Programing Tools
Thanks for clarification. I watched few videos on YT where PC app is shown and based on this I drawed my conclusions.

None of those options mentioned are OK for me, so I think I got my mind set on VVDI2 or CGDI at this stage.

Cheers!

RE: BMW Key Programing Tools
I would personally go with VVDI2, however it's only worth to take Full version (BMW, VAG etc) for 1199 euro

Edit: I see it's on sale on Black Friday for 1149$

XZBMW  RE: BMW Key Programing Tools
Hi,

I use Autohex for keys, works fine on e series cas 2/3, r56 and f series 868 keys. However it does not work for f series 434 keys, it will start the car via the emergency coil but the remote doesn't function. Tried original 434 keys reset and new blank keys also. None worked remotely. Ended up converting the car to 868 which worked perfectly.
Hope this helps someone.

Have you check if the FEM/BDC in transport mode? I’ve experienced the same that car start with emergency coil, but remote not working, and found that the FEM/BDC in transport mode after Autohex did the unlock. I’ve turn off the transport mode then work properly.
