E60 - IHKA Problem - After turning on the engine
Hello
I have a problem with the E60 A/C vents from 2004 - Air conditioning high When the ignition is turned on in the car, you can change the airflow settings - to the windshield, to the legs, to the face. As soon as the engine is started, the vents blow with the settings from the ignition. On the computer you can see how the airflow values change, but the motors remain in the positions before the engine is turned on. When the engine is off, the air vents can be adjusted normally What was done: A/C Panel replaced, IBS replaced, Alternator disconnected There is probably a communication glitch on the LIN bus somewhere after starting the engine I had an identical case with a BMW E60 and the IBS clamp was damaged in that car. After the change and adaptation, everything returned to normal, but not in this case Maybe someone had the same problem?? Regards If I helped you, press "Thanks" + Rep

RE: E60 - IHKA Problem - After turning on the engine
And You don't have factory stationary heating (Webasto)? just thinking.
Heater motors are controlled with LIN-bus, yes, but this bus is separate bus (driven by IHKA), if I remember right. |

Right, and IBS is connected to ECU with BSD, Webasto is controlled with K-Can as I remember. You should try to do IHKA motors calibration I think.

RE: E60 - IHKA Problem - After turning on the engine
After reviewing everything again, I don't know how it happened, but after disconnecting the BSD from the alternator again - which I had disconnected earlier, the vents started working. The problem is the voltage regulator on the alternator

It is possible, these voltage regulators are quite problematic.
