Hello.
I have f30 2012 .no brake light When I scan I get FRM/TSGFA (Rear electronic module): Error code: 804875 One or several outputs have exceeded the approved number of short-circuit cycles ( encodable), Fault currently present And when I calculate test plan with ista and finish it It detect like this: The output disabled due to short-circuits can no longer be enabled: • Side lights, rear right 2 The REM control unit must be replaced. When I remove A174-12B left brake light works Also I test with multimeter .and there are no short to ground. I tried to code rem again. And nothing |

There is a defect in that circuit. Too many amps are measured on that output pin from the rem. Try to reset the short circuit protection with tool32 but before you've to find the issue. If you can't find anything, then the rem is defective. Also the rear headlight can be faulty and draw too many amps, or wrong lamps installed.

You said there are no short to ground, but there could be short to some other wire. Not only that, I am trying to remember, if I remember correctly, those taillights have some metal strip on the light assembly itself. Nonetheless, double check wires before concluding the REM is the issue. Recoding won't help if the short circuit really still exists. Also check the bulb itself.

I got the error without putting any lamp in right tail . Also I have other errors about short circuit for windows motor It can be the responsibility of that ? |

plug out the lamp outputs at the same rem, you can find the diagram on newtis.
