6wa cluster R270 not reading eeprom for VIN change
H. Could anyone help with R270 (red board)? Is there a rework needed?
I have 160DOWT chip desolder but no matter what I try it does not read the chip. I want to change VIN in a cluster so it works correctly in F10. At the moment cluster is working fine with red dot but doesnt allow to read/reset service (because of different VIN) |

With R270 should not be problem reading 160DOWT , the only problem will be erasing increment area
at the two first lines.If your programmer does not read use another tool. If I helped you press magic buttons
