XZBMW  ICOM A2 + B connection problem
Hey,

Does anyone of you know the problem?

My Icom B shows an active system (glows green), but when I connect the MOST connector, the System light is also green but the Most light for MOST connection glows red and is never green ... the MOST-Ring is closed ...

In the Web of the ICOM, i can see the available channels of Kcan, Dcan and Most (2x 6801 and 1x 6802), but wenn i reserve the ICOM, the active channels are only the 6801 ...

Please help me if anyone have the same problem or no an solution...

This is the same problem ... copied from another Forum:

Hello, I have a problem with the icom A2 / B (the Most Adapter). I cant get a stable MOST connection when the ignition of the car is turned on. I tried diffrent cars, diffrent USB cables but it is not possible to flash with the MOST adapter. Always the red light is blinking an no connect to the MOST bus. The ISTA reports a MOST Gateway error. The flashing by the DIAGBUS seems to be ok, but I still need the MOST bus flashing option. It would be very nice, if you have a idea to fix this problem. Thanks in advance. Best regards.

RE: ICOM A2 + B connection problem
Check ICOM-A2 Firmware version update to the latest and make sure Terminal 15 (kl15) and Terminal 30 (ubatt-Volts) are at 13.volts not under and not over 14.6volts. The Media Orientated System transport Bus uses those high voltage for UN-Altered Programming and Encoding. The system watch against for too low & too high a battery voltage from Terminal 30, the same voltage will be reported on Kl15. If you uses a Battery charger that is too high an voltage input then the system will warn you that is too high. My solution is to turn on the head lamps or fog switches individually if voltage via charger get too high.

If no solution results, then check your ICOM-A2 heat temperature.
If that does not help out then your ICOMA2 IS defective concerning the optic circuits inside the board. CHECK for cold soldering, a partially open circuit can cause red light issues.

Buy an High Quality ICOMA2.

Please check and reply if results make ICOMA2 Red Optic light go away.
