I’ve found a lot of the maps myself but what im really looking for is a duty cycle for the fuel pressure regulator on the hpfp. I have found 4 rail pressure maps and one offset rail pressure. But I cannot find a maximum or a way to reduce rail pressure.

What I have done is change the cp4.1 pump to a cp3 as an upgrade but the rail pressure is too high in the low/mid range and throwing a p0088.

What is old pump part number and new part number?
Why did you change pump?

I have never done that but I have seen that a lot of people to upgrade from cp4 to cp3 mostly in the USA
I just upgraded from cp1 to cp3

It was the standard cp4.1 pump fitted to CGLB engine. Nothing was wrong with it but I know of a couple of friends same pumps just shred themselves and fill the fuel system with metal so thought I’d change it for a cp3 when I did timing belt. I’d have to check numbers but it’s the pump number that they use in America to put on their jettas. I changed the fuel regulator on the pump but still getting high rail pressures so I’m wandering if it has different levels of power used to regulate than the original ??
