why just not to upload firmware according to VIN of the car and don't use expensive programmers ?

why people choose so difficult ways ?
Ford / Linkoln / Mazda PATS remote module and keys programming service, incode-outcode calc
VAG MIB1 MIB2 headunit programming, coding, maps/language conversion
BMW module programming, coding, maps update, language conversion
Renault incode-outcode calc
