we have LEFT HAND DRIVE Ford Focus 2009 with a door lock problem.

The door continuously locking and unlocking by itself.
When i pull off the connector from passenger's door control unit the self lock-unlock is stops.
BUT when the connector is plugged in,i can not lock the door via keys,remote and the passenger's door functions are not working.
Like power windows,power door locks,mirror adjusting.
And i can not control the passenger's power windows,
the rear passenger's side power windows and passenger's door mirror from the driver's door switch block.
I don't know why but maybe someone replaced the passenger's door control unit to a second hand unit.
BUT maybe that person is bought a module from England because if i tried to read the fault codes i can not read the door control modules when passenger's module was plugged in.
After that i pulled of the connector and i can read the driver door module and everything looks okay.
But if i pull off the driver's door module and I plug in the passenger's after that i see in the diagnostic tool shows the passenger's door module like driver's door module.
faults codes when drivers door modul is disconected are DFDM C198F,DFDM B166A,DFDM B1773,DFDM B2477  and with drivers module connected and passenger connected i have no errors
I dont have passenger modul listed only drivers door module and stah car should have both of them..he reads both modules as drivers module when i disconnect one of them.
And if i read live data like door lock switches,or any state of live data,it shows driver's door control module.
It is possible?
I mean, it is possible to have 2 driver door modules was built in 1 car originally?without passenger modul?
Because i read out the car's configuration and it shows only the driver's side door module ( DFDU ) and that modul is on both sides of the car.
There is no passenger's side door module in the configuration. ( PDFU )

Have you gone through the wiring with a diagram to check and see if there has been any modifications?

no modification..car just had a crash,but wiring is original.biggest enigma for me is why car doesnt see passenger door modul when both modules are plugged in?and when i remove drivers door module car sees passenger modul as drivers modul?!could it be that someone has put modul from drivers right side(England,Ireland) wehicle to passenger side and now it sees 2 drivers modul?

hey,they said it was working..only problem is that i dont trust this guy(he bought car from italy and he is fixing it to sell it).he isnt my customer and i dont like him but im doing favor to my friends (owners of workshop that i work).i think that central locking wasnt working..i was searching online spare module and conclusion is that we have same part with same numbers in cars with steering wheel on right and left side..so when steering is located on right side then it is drivers door module,when the steering is on left side then it is passenger side modul..so using logic only thing that is possible that module lost its configuration and need new configuration or module is dead..

Maybe a coding problem, 8 have seen something similar happening to a vag car, not sure what you need to code a ford though, someone else will chime in

yes,in vw,audi,bmw you can configure in bcm with long coding etc..here it isnt like that.i will try to find modul like the one i have and see if it will make difference

it is the passenger side modul EU(right side) and difference when they are both plugged in i cant see any module,i just see error and central locking is working its own..locking and unlocking..then i plug out passenger modul i enter the module on left side (drivers) .if i plug out drivers modul i can enter passenger modul but in forscan shows me like drivers door modul..haha it is so stupid

i have idea like that..i dont have IDS but with forscan i can read configuration as build in most of the modules with extended  licence..so i was thinking to find a car like that and copy module information and then flash it in our modul.i have error in our modul of modul configuration error so i cant use that one configuration..it is very likely that module is corrupted and needs new firmware
