hi to all
ford fiesta 1.2 / 2012 plate
1 car has power steering fault
2 esp light on
3 engine management light on
4 no rev counter
i have connected to abs module and live data showing power at module and brake pressure goes up when pedal pressed.
brake pedal switch is working.
module live data is showing pump not working or any of the valves not working.
as soon as car goes into reverse it stalls.
all wheels turn freely when spun jacked up off the ground.
i just want second opinion that module is defective.
attached are fault codes to the car
any help appreciated.

have you taken the instrument cluster out and checked the board for the solder joints on the connector.(you have to strip down and take the needles off etc ) very common on the fiesta and will give you the faults described. i still repair approx 3-4 a month of these

car has had a bcm/cluster/and pcm swap and car runs but fault still there.
its now back on original cluster/bcm/pcm
its strange how car stalls the minute you select reverse gear with clutch to the floor but ok in all other gears as its a manual gearbox is it linked in with abs /esp.
should the abs pump be running with foot on the brake pedal and solenoids working /as i say there is power to abs module and can network is fine.
ford need to sort there soldering out
