Different Light/Rain Sensor
Hello,
can anybody explain what are the differences of Rain-Light-Sensor WITH HUD and WITHOUT HUD? BMW G05 Problem is, that automatic light goes on when dark but do not goes off it is brighter again. May be wrong sensor? Regards |

Are you sure that it is bright enough outside that car should switch it do DRL's? It's not going to switch over every time the sun shines to sensor or you drive in the woods where it is darker. The system is smarter than that and if lighting conditions are borderline then it will stay on low beams.
If you live in northern latitudes, give it a month for sun to get higher before you jump to conclusions and possibly change hardware without a reason. |

You can also see it - if it is dark and then will brighter, the headlights goes off for one second and goes on again - inside the light signs goes off! I think lights sensor work, tell BDC it is bright enought, BDC switch off light, so lightsigns inside and headlight goes off and then a signal comes and switch light on again but light signs inside won't on. Inside you think light is off, outside it burns. there is no fault in ista. Sensor Number Hella 6PW-011-807-921 is built in. |
