Hi guys,

I did the retrofit but not sure why the wing mirror images (both sides) appear to be inverted.  Already checked the camera modules in the wing mirrors and they look good.  Anyone can shed some light please?

The cameras in the mirrors are called the Top View Camera.

I captured a screenshot from the others. Apparently the wing mirror cameras are showing the road markings and nearby objects correctly.

However, if you take a closer look at my first photo, the wing mirror cameras are only showing the front wheels and doors (images appear to be up-side down)

One key question here - are the side view cameras (both sides of the front bumper) needed to form surround view images? Currently both side view cameras are not installed but just set aside in the cabin as I am looking for a good way to lay the 2 LVDS cables.

Anyone has an idea why the images appear inverted?  Personally I believe it can be resolved by coding but got no idea which code(s) to try...

if your mirrors are M5 (i think so) you need to code trsvc module with M5 typschlussel, if it's normal F10 mirrors then try to calibrate cameras with istaD

It works like a charm after changing the Typschlüssel to FV92 (M5)
