Bench reading ISN CAS 3 BMW explorer?
Hey guys, so I connected the bmw explorer with my bench cable. Can High/Low, Ground, 12V.
Now I want to read the isn, therefore it has to be update with bmw explorer. Problem is: Which pin is ignition detect/kl15? Bmw explorer says I have to turn off the ignition, how can I do this but simultaneously give the cas 12V ? Without ignition 12V. I have a godiag cable, so I can simulate ignition, but I don't know which pin. I have Pinout |

For now I have 12 ground 35 can low 26 can high 34 12v Ignition coil 1->1 2->2 And so on, also tried 12v on pin 1 but key won't get soaked in |

RE: Bench reading ISN CAS 3 BMW explorer?
BMW explorer always displays the warning that ignition must be switched off. If you have a bench setup, why not just see if it works with an old / unused CAS? These are very cheap.

RE: Bench reading ISN CAS 3 BMW explorer?
I have tried connecting explorer to cas according to diagram but it never worked!! So I made a small bench setup with JBBF and that works. Invest in that and be happy
