Dear Friends,

I am in the unlucky situation to must track down / find one or more Injectors which are failing during the drive with low rpm and in high gears. In this case a vibration appears. 

Unfortunately, the uneven running test works only in idle. Even INPA don't shows values while driving.  


With Bimmerlink (Iphone App) I was able to track down 1-2 Injectors which turning into values up to -1700 while the car shudders (other Injectors have only values from up to 500) Unfortunately, the values are delayed due to low sample rate.

Would be happy for every clever idea Thanks a lot! I have attached the idle values from the ISTA ABL.

I think there's an ABL called Expert Mode in ISTA that might show the values you want while dynamic, not only stationary. IIRC you choose if you are going to perform the test while driving or parked.

First, replace the fuel filter in the gas tank.
The fuel pump in the tank has two readings.
1. Fuel pressure.
2. Volume of fuel passing per unit of time.
If the amount of fuel is not enough at high engine speeds, the engine will never work correctly at high speeds.
There may be errors in the fuel pumping pressure and fuel temperature.

It's completely unrelated to the topic of n63 injectors.

This are piezo injectors so warm them up and then measure resistance of the piezoelectric stack each of them. You will see the difference. Besides this You may read rough running value each cylinder, of course engine must be warmed up. Check ignition coils too, there was many problems with them.

The best thing is to remove all eight injectors, put them on a fuel stand and drive them in different modes.
at low revs and at high revs.
view spray pattern and injection dose in measuring cups.
they should be the same for all injectors.
