Here is the procedure to get sport mode unlocked on gen2 clusters made by bosch.


Downgrade cluster to 0095, then update back to whatever version you want ... and there you have it.

In the link you can find the needed software to do the downgrade.


Use your brain ... a and one more thing.

Before posting adds and testing on other people cars ... make sure you can recover the dash if something goes wrong

Thanks. Please explain a bit. When i do downgrage i need to use Script for Sports Layout and after that upgrade to version needed or it is enough to just only downgrage with your provided sw and after all just update?

Thanks for the file, but anyone know how to delete Basic Setting error after second (final) update?

Tested on Q8 2019 4K0920790C, update to D_AU651_0095_0730_prod, then updated to 0156.

AU491 8W5920790J Model name I thought it could be fpk2___2018_kw44 in software information.

Did you manage it? Is it something like the SVM Errors like on the old MMI Systems? 

Can you tell us how? 

Do you have a source for the 0156 Firmware Update?
