Customer has a bricked MEVD 17.2 on a 2011 F10 535xi because my employ decided to update the customer for free!...

Willing to pay for working solution.

Dont know what he did but its really bad.. DME in car is original and working besides the completely wrong HWEL with no backup (he overwrote backup) and wrong SFWL versions.

I cant seem to get Esys to revert the HW ID back to its orginal now that its flashed. and do not have another 
of the same ecm to read and write from...similar but the f10 535 is an outcast. 

it must be a FU73 typekey because MEVD 17.2 + F series + old style HPFP = completely different pflash

Next problem is how do I flash full dumps that aren’t from auto tuner( auto tuner is only resource i have to flash the ecm other than eys. And now that everything is wrong hw and sw wise I can’t seem to get the tal to take

Auto tuner dumps the ecm into 4 files (I flash 0 , 1 dflash 0,1) to make it difficult to use any other method or tuner

Thank you, im going to post a dump of the files i put there from another car in an attempt to have esys see the error and then self heal. the isn is wrong at the moment but that can easily be changed later as well as vin.also  i found the dump of dflash at time of arrival for the car maybe you can see ids from it that i cant. extract


EDIT: Car is not running nor is it even responding via obd... shows up in ista, esys etc... no scanners though and doesnt crank. fuel pump runs forever, im assuming that its because 17.2.6 is a completely different pinout, its more like an e series n55 + flexray

what do you mean with what is the order? File are named with iflash0 iflash1 dflash0 dflash1, flash it and test in car for correct identification, if you have a correct ident you can fix easily the rest with esys

Autotuner will not initialize at all. since last flash with error it wont go.

my iflash1 is too short, try the other file

what do you mean with what is the order? File are named with iflash0 iflash1 dflash0 dflash1, flash it and test in car for correct identification, if you have a correct ident you can fix easily the rest with esys

So I guess a file that’s too short will utterly ruin an ecm

So…. I tried on another ecm on the bench and it works so it’s the ecm that took those bytes to the dome.
