Can anyone help/teach us/point us in the right direction.

We bought a Megane (2003) 1,5dci with injection failure. We fitted another injection pump, common rail and injectors and did the timing belt and waterpump at the same time. The car had also been idle for some time, without a battery connected.

Our friend brought his Bosch gadget from work and coded the injectors - the Megane refused to fire up.

Our friend gave us another set of injectors and we fitted them - but then he couldn't get the Bosch tool again so we bought and installed a chinese CLIP, V140.

It connects to the car and can automatically get the VIN.

If you do automatic test of all computers, it says "Some Computers not Responding to Diagnostics" and under "Not Detected" it lists

120 - INJECTION 1232 - Variable PAS 756 - AIRBAG/PRETENSIONERS

If you go into Programming , Select INJECTION , it successfully searches for data, click validate , validate info displayed , click ok to re-programming message , click next ,

It then checks battery voltage - with a new battery its 10.9 , with another battery (with jumpleads) + charger connected it reads 11.1 on clip even though at the terminals its 12.37 .

Clip does transmission and then the following error message

"FAULTY TRANSMISSION - CONTACT THE COMPUTERS CORRESPONDANT - REPROGRAMMING PROCEDURE INTERRUPTED"

We are a newbie with CLIP so help would be greatly appreciated.

In the meantime we are going to make those leads on the car spotless and try again.

If I can understand it is that you can not find injeccion ECU. and airbag ECU ?? diagnostic diagram

if so it is necessary that you check communications line CAN

if all goes well it is not necessary to reprogram anything .... (but if it goes wrong you will have to repair the CAN line)

verify fault memory ECU Injecion ... if this ok

when you give to crank or start

  you have to verify that there rail pressure (~ 200 bar), engine speed, speed camshaft

I have this problem from time to time, it finally recognises the computer after starting the engine for some mysterious reason.
Another good reason for this problem is an incorrect configuration.
For that you need to get into the config page and check that all factory fitted items are checked with a “YES” and all those not fitted with a “NO”
