XZBMW  M sport layout coding
Hello everybody...after update my G21 with 4.42.11 (kombi programmed) at I level 23-07, can not code m sport layout in kombi (m logo at center and m colour strip in bottom left) with bimmercode;
I've latest bimmercode  - beta testflight, that can manage latest I level but no m sport layout effect;
diesel logo on-off yes
m 160mph or 220mph yes
no m sport logo.

I can access to expert menu but no idea of what modify there.

any help???

thanks

RE: M sport layout coding
Tried this in expert mode with bimmercode:

DKombi4
-Expert Mode
-3001 KI_Parameter
-AG_MPA_MSP_VIEW

3001 KI_PARAMETER
LOGO_SCHRIFTZUG
MSP_LOGO

Nothing...only ALPINA layout works;
It seems that new kombi software/coding of 23-07 (4.42.11) have new bit coding or this function blocked, imho...diesel logo works.
No other logo vailable, tried all availbale in expert mode but nothing.
Still reprogrammed manually kombi and recoded all the car, nothing.

Maybe something will change with 4.42.20???
nobody tried this I level in Gxx series??

RE: M sport layout coding
News: Calculate test plane with new 4.42.20: no module need to be programmed.
I've recoded all car with this version, now I level is 23-07-527

Issue still present, kombi can not be coded with bimmercode (also in expert mode) in M sport layout.

Anyone with this problem on G series?

Hello yes I can confirm also in my case after updating to the latest ILevel S18A-23-07-523 and  S15A-23-07-517 on our G cars respectively, several ECUs are not codable anymore when using or wanting to use Bimmercode and most likely any other apps. I had to re-apply all coded stuff via Esys which worked perfectly, takes longer but is definitely the SAFER way with G cars anyways. BDC and DKOMBI are amongst the ECUs that are GREYED out and thus not accessible via the app.

This is completely normal in bimmercode ( and unrelated to secure coding ).
If the app doesn’t have the latest mappings, it disables your ability to code them to protect your car.
The creator frequently pushes new coding updates through, 23-07 is days old, so give him some time.

Always good advice: if you are doing custom coding, never move to a brand new istep (ie not a patch level) as soon as it’s released. You will have a bad time

Thank you for the advice on the Bimmercode mappings good point I did not consider that. I usually do the coding via Esys, which is "safer" especially for G series models, except for some quicker and less critical stuff which I do or did via app. As I never had those ECUs greyed out before, I wondered why that was but was then able as mentioned to access everything as usual via Esys so I am good. I was just confirming what the other dude experienced (the same) with the mentioned app. I guess I was lucky then because other than a couple of hiccups with only one car (which could be solved) everything thing else went smoothly.

RE: M sport layout coding
Try to code Kombi with ESYS and pszdata 4.22.20, can not see name in kombi tree with value... (S18A for my G21)...anyone have screenshot for that? what version of ESYS are you working on?
