hello can someone help me with my porsche cayenne Diesel v8.
i changed a new used ECU EDC17CP44 beacouse of water damage of my old. write EEPROM and FLASH from old  to new but car dont start it only cranks. and get error that ECU is locked. i have read that some part of the flash cant copy and i want to make IMMO OFF.. can someone help me?

1. EDC17x ecu you cannot copy files from one ecu to another.. i hope u kept the original files that came with the ecu or its junk.
2. You Need the same HW and SW numbers replacement ecu as your car.

And this is the point to begin or you are wasting everyones time.

It is the same hw number and sw number. I did some bmw edc17 clone without problem and I could just do like you said its not possible .. some cars have immo difrently in the otp flash and some not .. so its not all edc 17. Everything is ok only immo off .. my friend had the same problem with his audi q7 and its exactly the same ecu and someone here helped him long time a go and he did the same procedure like me and it went well after that .
