Hello to all,

I am doing now a retrofit of comfort access option to G05 X5 M50i. I have installed all antennas (2 at the bottom outside under fender, 1 under rear bumper, 1 inside trunk near battery, 4 keyless door handles). I installed smart rear tailgate openner too. I´ve coded all car to 322 option but the keyless is still no working. I can see in ISTA under BDC unit status of locking or unlocking and there is last action option. When I lock the car with remote controller it write this info. When I want to open the car touching the handle it write the info and under this is written that key was not detected by the antennas. I´ve checked part number of comfort access key and it is the same for CA or without it.
In ISTA servicefunctions there is an option to disable keyless, I´ve check it and keyless was activated. Disabling and enabling did not help.
Doesn´t anybody have a clue what is the problem?

From your post I don't understand whether you replaced BDC with CA one... For CA you need BDC with HWAP 0000415C_255_255_255 - HW_OPTION_BODY_CA_ANTENNA_ENTRY.

P.S. It LOOKS like you HAVE NOT.

Just calculate with 322 and check what Node says... BDC3 needs to be chaged

Your current BDC doesn't support Comfort Access
There is way to retrofit CA without changing BDC2/3, but you will need good soldering skills and extra PCB components as well.

Damn, I made a TAL calculation with and without 322 option and there was no difference in HW...

From that LOOKS like you have 415C HWAP. Million dollar question now is DID you or did you NOT use HW-IDs from actual button??? OR some other mangling of data?

Provide VIN to check what BDC was installed from factory...

I did not get HW-IDs from actual button! The VIN is LE44819. On monday I will remove BDC and take a picture of it.
It really looks like there is not the CA antenna parts but we will see... Because it even did not complain about missing CA antennas when I code it before instalation of all handles and antennas. Only missing LIN from smart opener tailgate and NFC reader missing in driver´s handle.

This is confusing. That VIN should have 4A04FD8 BDC from factory, just because it has 2VW - M sport suspension. This part has 415C HWAP, but it's description does not have CA antenna...

Description for 4A04FD6 has CA antenna and it was installed on cars with 322, but NOT 2VW (at least on S18A-19-07-555 factory level as this car is). It also has 415C HWAP. Replacement part for this is 5A09DC2 (while it is 5A09DC4 for other one).

So it SEEMS like G05s which had 2VW were NEVER sold with 322 (at least with 19-07 factory levels, I have not checked others). Thats why ESys has no idea what BDC you need to have for 322 because of 2VW. If you would remove 2VW, IMHO you would get different (and proper) BDC for 322...
