RE: ISTA+ 4.44.2x Install Files - MEGA
I do not understand your problem. IF you are using official launcher, then it will install BLP along with SQLite files!
And HOW different launcher version is related to this AT ALL??? You modified the file, OF COURSE official launcher will refuse it!!! |

Your previous post said ISTA launcher won't install BLP, but your screenshot PROVES OTHERWISE!!!
Regarding SDP I do not know. Generally I would suggest having more history xml files than just a single current version as you. Or having istapackages too. |

RE: ISTA+ 4.44.2x Install Files - MEGA
There is NOTHING wrong with package / files and using modified .xml files will not work with official Launcher due to invalidating the MD5 Checksum. Use latest ISTA Launcher to install:
ISTA+ 4.44.2x Install Files Requires BMW_ISPI_ISTA-LAUNCHER_1.44.0.1534: https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=85155 2018 F06 Alpina B6 650ix GC; Space Grey; Vermillion Red Nappa Leather; Executive; B&O; Driving Assistant 2017 F15 X5 xDrive50i MSport; Glacier Silver Metallic; Black Dakota Leather; Executive; B&O; Driving Assistant; RSE |

I had the latest launcher from the begining, all the packages correctly downloaded, i just repeated the download just to be sure nothing gets corrupted. Still launcher seems not to see the avaialble programming data update. I am not saying that the packages are not ok, i am not saying that i will die without this update - i was just curious why the hell on my ista the update is not working as it should. Uploading again some few pictures... maybe someone can recommend what else to try/check. Many thanks! |

It actually will install BLP but just won't update SDP. I now updated ISTA Launcher to 1.44.0.1534, and include older versions of xml and their istapackages too but it didn't help. (04-11-2023, 19:24 PM)ivanp Wrote:(04-11-2023, 18:00 PM)shawnsheridan Wrote: There is NOTHING wrong with package / files ... It's most likely because you are missing "BMW_ISPI_ISTA-META_SDP_4.44.11.xml" in the shared folder. But I'm also having the same issue even though I just updated to the latest ISPI ISTA Launcher 1.44.0.1534 and have put "BMW_ISPI_ISTA-META_SDP_4.44.11.xml" and "BMW_ISPI_ISTA-META_SDP_4.43.40.xml in the shared folder. The ISPI ISTA Launcher just doesn't want to update SDP for some reason... |

RE: ISTA+ 4.44.2x Install Files - MEGA
I ALREADY TOLD you to try to put at least ONE MORE previous xml OR put full SDP data istapackage in there!

For sake of others, sharing my timeline of updating experience to this latest delta. Note that I've been following the same delta update procedure for quite a while, and been working good. But not with this latest delta update. So, i last ended (successfully) the delta update of ISTA+ 4.44.1x (DELTA) with following, And i "usually" just leave a single file, this XML in place, Note the version of ISTA Launcher used, 1.43.2.1515, NOT the latest version just uploaded by shawnsheridan. And all we well. Fast forward to yesterday, to update to ISTA+ 4.44.2x (DELTA), bit strange update experience so far,. Checked the SHA MD5 checkums of all downloaded files, look good, verified. All files are left in their original state, nothing modified. Good sign, so start the update. ... What? Interesting... Okay, last message from shawnsheridan was to update to latest ISTA Launcher, ok, do that. Now the new ISTA Launcher 1.44.0.1534 is giving bit of different message after checking for software updates, saying there are missing packages ??? Obviously those 2 (missing) packages are from previous delta update, which I had already removed. So, decided to bring back those 2 istapackage files, And retry the software update, And wait... So, i'm not sure why the update experience is bit different with the latest DELTA update compared to the every previous updates I've done... Well, something is still bit strange here... So, I believe I too am in the same situation as others. Not sure why updating to this latest DELTA is bit more dramatic... |

I have tried putting one more previous XML: "BMW_ISPI_ISTA-META_SDP_4.43.40.xml" and "BMW_ISPI_ISTA-META_4.43.41.xml" but that didn't help. I also tried including "BMW_ISPI_ISTA_DELTA-SDP_4.44.10.istapackage" and that didn't help either. I will try including the full SDP 4.44.10 istapackages and see if that work.
