Hello dear forums. I try to find compatibility EIS for W212 E350, but in EPC shows only few number that fit to the car. I have wonder can i just buy used EIS from same model and MY or must buy exactly part number that EPC show me. Here is VIN and EPC relevant numbers

By looking up to the connectors,
find the EIS with the same connectors that will work.

         

Checked that yours don't have keyless, otherwise you should use keyless EIS although they are look the same.

Tips, read the manufacture date on label, find the latest one i/o old one,
the older one may possibly goes wrong sooner.

Use key tools, it is easy to program(if you know how).
try not to just clone eeprom.
since different part no. may slightly different in hardware that pure clone won't work.

Thanks for the tip. My car doesn't have keyless. I am not sure can i use other EIS that is not listed as compatible in EPC? I will use CGDI to clone used EIS, but can't find none of this numbers or if i find the price is redicilous.

In this generation you can use nearly any EIS from W204,207,212 which has same plugs.
You will not find used in same number, there are so many variant.

And it is hard to find the one in EPC from used market,
bcoz that is the newer part, except the owner got it replaced in Mercedes previously then dump the car,
otherwise it is barely can't find in used market.
EIS is not a easy break part, so in used market most are still the one from the car it shipped.
In fact EIS can only order from Mercedes, as it is anti thief part so it is expensive,
in some region only authorized workshop can order and not for sell and re-sell.
