Hey guys,

I'm having ELV troubles with a 06/2004 E87. The car has the 3 pin ELV plug and CAS2 (hw 02)
I tried resetting with Tool32 plenty of times, however no movement. Also removed IBS just to try, and made no difference.

Afterwards I removed the CAS from the car and tried on my bench setup with ELV emulator. The ELV emulator is meant for 4-pin ELV, but afaik the only difference is one more ground wire. 
But still no ignition (kl15).
apiJob("CAS","status_elv","","") gives:
  STAT_ELV_STATUS_TEXT            = Status unbekannt (keine Kommunikation oder Zwischenzustand)
  _STAT_ELV_ACTUAL_STATE          = M_ELV_GET_STATUS

Already tried flashing with winkfp to latest zusb (6943768), car already had this version. But I tried anyway. 

I see some people are putting CAS3 C3 (256kb) instead of CAS2 module and are phyiscally removing the ELV. 
However, I'm not quite sure if this will work for this car, because it was never delivered with CAS3.

I read something about s-start and d-start, but i'm not quite sure.

Who can help?

PS. When I put another CAS2 on my bench setup, it works 100% including KL15. 
However that CAS2 is not exactly equal, differences are:
That CAS2 is HW03, and the CAS2 from the problemcar is HW02. I don't know the exact differences between hw02 and hw03.
That CAS2 is from 03/2005, and problemcar is from 06/2004

You can send to me ur CAS2 eeprom and flash to check if is there a problem in dump, if there is not we can transfer all ur eeprom data to another CAS3 0L01Y C3 with ELV on or off per ur request.
