well, looking closely at the files I realized in the log that it said it couldn't find a file and looking closely at everything it turns out that it had files that weren't its own, I don't know why it was downloaded, I don't understand it...
I have downloaded the files again if I don't have the same problem

The version for K001 and F56 looks very old. Did you do the full SDP update?

Guy's install is CLEARLY brokeny. These are the proper versions.

thx , something wrong with my versions , i didn't noticed , also i have extra ones R001 for some reason , but strange part is update went no errors even when load esys no errors , and so far no strange errors in ista , but with next update will do clean install , just to make sure

Well, I still have the same problems, I have version 3.39 installed and there is no way for the launcher to install the version, it always has the same problem and I have edited the registry well and the log gives me an error that it cannot find anything.

and this version is not the one I am updating

what version are you trying to update to?  if you have the xml file
of 4.45.20 in the same folder as the older versions, it looks for the newest one. if you’re updating to an older version, just remove ALL files and just keep
only the older version in the folder. don’t put ANY NEWER FILES IN THERE. 

why not just download the 4.45.1x and start fresh with that?  there is no problem with the launcher, the issue is on your end.

launcher are just as good once you get the hang of it. 

i went from 4.42.1x directly to 4.44.1x along with the full sdp (bypassed 4.43 entirely) then slowly updated one by one version until latest 4.45.2x and no issues.

you don’t touch the ista installation folder at all. if you have 4.39 already installed and working, then just follow the instructions for the launcher to create that folder to store the delta files. 

if you downloaded 4.45.2x delta files then you need 4.45.1x as well so it can install 4.45.1x first then it will install 4.45.2x. you MUST have the files for any major version first - ie 4.44.1x; 4.45.1x, etc before you can install 4.44.2x, 4.45.2x etc. So in your case, you need 4.45.1x delta files which the launcher will install those then 4.45.2x. 

just make sure you have a working copy of ista already installed and working before using launcher to upgrade.

Hello, could you please take a screenshot of how you have the registry configuration. and since you have it in the folders, I've been working with it all day today and I'm not able to, can someone tell me if version 4.41.x is ready to unzip from the rar, puff I'm more lost and forgive me
