NBT Evo flash failed and v850 clear makes some troubles
Hi everyone.
Yesterday I wanted to flash a id5 from ilevel 16-07 to 18-03 in the car directly. I used to do that kind of flash. But for some reason e-sys throwed error : rc_update_service not reachable Never got that before (low battery car key?) . And so I tried to flash it again, got 11% and flash failed again. This time Nbt Evo just not reachable. So after all of this I decided to clear v850, and this time unit is not anymore visible. Can’t see at all in e-sys and can’t see with tool32 too Took out the hu from the car and connected it on bench. When I ping it , I have 2 responses one with like 2000ms and another one 1-10ms , and not reachable during 15 seconds and so on. That’s because the unit is in boot loop , I can clearly hear the hdd up and down. So I decided to disconnect the hu to preserve hdd. Do you guys have some ideas ? Tried to flash in UDS without success too. Thanks. |

Had same issue, V850 needs to be repaired with VVDI.

Ok, as I dont want this problem come with another customer. I’ll be ok to buy VVDI. Do you know where to get it and some guides maybe ? (Maybe I’m dreaming)

You should not rely on my answer, im just telling from my experience. Search online for "NBT EVO vvdi adapter", you will come across an adapter that can easily do the repair that you most likely need. You will need good dumps tho.

RE: NBT Evo flash failed and v850 clear makes some troubles
You just connect to your EVO's board where the V850 is, after connecting, you need to try and connect. If connection is fine, you need to get dumps for dflash and one more thing, i forgot but its right alongside the dflash in the vvdi menu. After you get the correct dumps, just write them in, it should fix it.
