Hi, I think you have to uninstall 55.0 version first and then install v56.
You can only update from v56.0 to 56.1, 56.x and so on.
So, in your case, you uninstall v55 first, install v56.0 and update it to 56.1.

Hi, I updated from 3.56.0.500 but now when I start ISTA/P loader v3.2 it still running 3.56.0.500... why? worried

For 32 and 64bit systems you have to use different reg files
