Digital Service History on E-series CIC
Hi guys,
Does anyone know whether you can encode the digital service history on an E Series CIC? Unnecessary but it would be nice if it worked  In the file from the CIC C1A there are the coding values "service history active" and "not active" If you set this to "active", the menu is still not there because there are no entries yet. Is there a tool that can be used to create the entries, or is that really only possible with F models? The first ones also had a CIC. Unfortunately, the well-known programs for service history do not connect to the E9x CIC. This could be the missing Enet connection? Greetings |

This is not possible throughout E-series.

You must connect to CIC with ENET interface (lan connection) and use app to write services to CIC. Should work. On bench work.

I have an Icom and an OBD-Enet cable available. Can you tell me how I can use it to establish a connection to the CIC in order to possibly import the history using software? Or is it, as already written above, simply not possible with the E-Series CIC? |

I'm pretty sure SkeYT here told it IS possible, and I DON'T see why it should not be!
Regarding how, I'm really tired of using search for other people here... I'm pretty sure that was explained many times here already. |
