I'm facing with the following problem, car is tuned and I have tried to make with the CGDI BMW a new key, after making of a key car didn't start anymore.
This DTC has show up: 930890 EWS: DME / DDE secret key not written or not locked

In eeprom is missing ISN from the ECU, I have tried to make a new eeprom taken from the other car, erase and make a key again but car is still cranking and not starting.

Story from tuner is: flash the ECU to stock, make a key and send me the ECU to tune again!

Any hint or someone to help?

Delete that last programmed key and program a new key to cas. Check the ISN in DME and CAS.

Key is already deleted, ISN from CAS can't be readed but I have from CGDi BMW when key was made.

It would be better to write down the original file and re-add the key.

After 2 days finally solved, thread can be closed!

After flashing of your repaired file engine didn't start, tried several times with writing a keys or various flashes but without success!
At the end I have flashed DME and CAS and all errors were gone, but engine has only crank!
I have erased already programmed used key and remove all other keys from eeprom, again programmed the used key and that was it, engine has started...
Hope that this will help if someone has a drama with the tuned MEVD17.26 ECU...
