I beg pardon if post this question but I am someway confused about ISTA setup.
Ihave a ISTA+ 4.39.20 activated/licensed running on my notebbok and it works fine. I am testing it and it is doing the job. English is not a problem to me but I am trying to understand the software setup.
I would like to add the italian language and my understanding is that I need to add a SQliteDBs IT.
I am still searching but so far no luck. I wonder if I must use the specific version SQliteDB (specifically 4.39.20) or I can solve my problem using a "compatible" version.
Any hint would be much appreciated.

Just extract the file with 7zip to your sqlitedb folder.
If you can't find the proper version, you could using lower version(not too much) or higher version(safter), using sqlite database explorer app open the db, modify the db version and then using in ISTA, may met problem may not.

Hi, a quick question. I installed the IT SQLiteDBs but when I use italian language some menus do not show properly. There is no wording but just numbers so it is not possible to use it. I installed just copying the exctracted files into the proper folder. Is this procedure correct?

You will ALWAYS get this when language version does NOT match your diagdb AND binaries versions.

This makes sense to me, BTW the ISTA is 4.39.20 and the SQliteDB is same 4.39.20....any idea how to check if it is the correct SQliteDB ?

Given you have numbers instead of text it's CLEARLY wrong version. And given ISTA does not complain, it's a FAKE version - someone took another version and just rewritten it's version so ISTA would not complain. No way to check unless you have a legitimate file so can compare to it, but if you would, you would not have a problem...

Got it. BTW I am "messing" a little bit with the files.
I openede the files ENG adn IT SQliteDBs and the only difference I noticed was about the date:
- ENG: 2022-11-30
- IT:     2023-8-19
both are 4.39.20.
Do you believe this makes the issue?

Well I opened the files with binary editor and guess what?...Node you were absolutely right.

post is actually 4.17.13.
So file IS not correct and fake, therefore ISTA does not run properly. It shows numbers instead of wording in many menus!!!

Having ISTA 4.29.15 with full package PSdZ 4.29.11 and IT language, how can I reduce the size to a lite version? If this is not possible on my own, do you have a link where to get reduced 4.29.11 PSdZ?
What other version of PSdZ I can use with ISTA 4.29.15?

If you do not want to be able to flash cars, then you can delete data_swi folder and change config to disable flashing. Lite version is supposed to be used with ESys, NOT ISTA.
