XZBMW  LED laser light height adjustment is ISTA+ ?
Good morning all. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to adjust the light height of the two front headlights on a 2019 BMW G20 via ISTA+

They seem a bit low at the moment and just wondered if it is something I can adjust via ISTA.

When the car starts up, you do see the light beam scan down and back up again to do a light height adjustment but I think it just needs a little bit of a tweak.

if anyone can help me out and tell me if there is a way to do it via ISTA+ and if so, where do I find this menu?

Thanks,

Hal

Headlight high, you're adjusting under the bonnet using adjusting screws

If the ride height position sensors are doing their job and sending correct data, and also whole system was calibrated correctly (unloaded on an even surface) - headlight beam require no further "tweaks".
There should be screws on top of headlights that allow some minor beam height adjustments, but if you do not know how it should be set up - leave it alone.
You might "improve" things for yourself, but will start to dazzle oncoming traffic if you set up beam higher than it should be.
Also, if you have annual MOT check - you would fail it because of that.

RE: LED laser light height adjustment is ISTA+ ?
Thanks all for the comments and advisories. Is there any way that I can do a reset or calibration on the sensors when the car is parked on flat ground. When I have done a couple of software updates using ISTA, the car was parked on slightly uneven ground and I’m wondering if this has caused the issue. I understand that I might dazzle drivers if I adjust it too high and I really do want to avoid this. As far as I know the sensors are mounted correctly and get no errors through iDrive. Just lights seem to be a bit low.
