My friend, if you are going to update the gateway or another control unit, always do one thing and turn on the 4 flashers so the car doesn't fall asleep. In case he falls asleep with the 4 flashers on, it allows communication via OBD.
Units that require 4 turn signals connected, gateway, onboard network, ABS, instrument panel, engine control unit, infotainment, practically almost everything, even with the Odis E. |

Maybe mibsolution has dataset for your car..
Otherwise ori vcp has it. I have done it. MQB does not "fall asleep", so don't worry about that..! |

But the very first question that should be asked: Why would you would like to flash the gateway? Does the current version gives problems or?

Yes, odis can flash dataset.
VCP datasets will give you a list to choose from (alternator ah, mode button, type of engine and so on).. |
