RE: Skoda Kodiaq 2018 issues..
Somebody cut a wrong wire or faulty wiring installation has popped a fuse?
We don't know what he did when he got this heater thing installed.. Has he done any coding/activations to enable this heater to work? WE DON'T KNOW! First thing first - check all fuses. If anything has popped - disconnect your heater, replace fuses and check if radio works. If that was the case - troubleshoot your heater installation outside the vehicle. |

He only disconnected the sd/cd player unit and battery. /H |

RE: Skoda Kodiaq 2018 issues..
On the 5f unit in the glove box, check the plug to see if there is 12v current. If you have excellent current, check if the plug is properly inserted, disconnect the battery again and wait a few minutes with it disconnected and then turn it on again to see if it wakes up.

And yes if CP is active you would definitely see it as static fault in scan.(06-03-2024, 21:38 PM)ruisam Wrote: On the 5f unit in the glove box, check the plug to see if there is 12v current. It more sounds like your brother have incorrectly reassembled back connector(-s) for a MMI box (or bent some pins in the process).
Double check that everything is in order there. |
