Did you made any coding, VO, software changes on DSC unit for to tell car you have LSD?

Nope, nothing. Moreover, I tried to code ICM in similar with Alpina manner (the only non-M BMW with LSD at the moment). It didn't work.

The M-performance LSD, in fact, is plated Drexler.

Guys but question still remains.
Does M-Performance diff- is plug n play on F32-B58-Manual?
Does M-Performance diff - requires coding, change VO, flash DSC

RE: F32 440ix M Performance diff - Retrofit
AFAIK no coding necessary, but for manual you need DIFFERENT PART NUMBER which is no longer supplied by BMW (official status: "omitted"). If you can still find it somewhere, part number is 33108659988. This has transfer ratio of 3.23 which is the SAME as normal one. Part number you specified in original post is for AUTOMATIC gear boxes and has the ratio of 2.81 and that is still supplied.

Procedure is simple: remove old one, install new one.

UPDATE: Both these are for pre-LCIs, but normal diff on F32 B58 manual LCI is the same part number as pre-LCI, so limited slip one could also fit.
