F10 FLA retrofit
Hi there

I acquired an FLA camera from a PreLCI 6’ to install in my 5’
I bought the prcLCI FLA camera with the separate 2 pin wiring to match the car
I have retrofitted an NBT without anything other than a 4SK ZGW. 
Everything works for the mirror from what I can tell (car is in storage for the winter)
I installed the camera and wired it in. I reused the original 10pin that plugged right in and wired up KCan H/L from the second 3 pin plug to an unused KCan1 harness from the old 10 pin idrive controller (yellow/green high to mirror pin 1, green low to mirror pin2 as indicated in TIS)

The FLA ecu does not show up in SVT when I read ecus from the SVT coding screen. 
I tried swapping wires and even tried on KCan2 but nothing I do will let the FLA ecu show up in ISTA. 

Any suggestions?
I may try tapping into the can wires behind IHKA if nothing else to rule out the old idrive controller can wires being the cause.

If you have FLA with CAN1 you musst connect PIN 1/2. If you have newer one with CAN2 connect PIN 4/5.
You will see in ESYS iif all right connected. You don’t need edit VO to see it in ESYS.

I have what I assume to be a can1 version as it has the second harness with 2 pins which I have correctly hooked up to the can bus. Still won’t show in SVT tree but mirror seemingly works as the garage door opener flashes.

Startofortress: doesn’t need to be in FA to show up in SVT tree but none the less it was added to FA and written.

I agree, yet for ISTA the updated FA helps to identify assembled modules while E-Sys can handle with less information available.

Couldn’t find any part number without opening it? This is all I could see in terms of numbers but clearly don’t align with bmws system.
