Hello,
I updated the EGS (GKE233) module of my vehicle from version 7618866 to version 8646500 with WinKFP. (I found the current version with the SA-option Helper tool.) My vehicle currently loses power after 4th gear. I want to downgrade my vehicle to version 7618866 or a compatible version. Can you help me on how to do this?

IF 7618866 was CORRECT version for your car then new version is 7644113 and NOT 8646500!

Maybe you should start with car VIN or something so we can confirm which firmware is correct for you!?

Yes this worked. When I programmed it with 7644113, the malfunctions went away. I will test the vehicle soon. Thanks Node. Can you explain to me how you found 7644113? Or how can I find the correct ZB by VIN number?

Parse sp daten files manually. 7618866 to 7644113 was EXTREMELY easy because there is only ONE variant in there with it. I have explained how to part them manually in another thread somewhere here.

P.S. If you have a connection to a car you can use ISTA-P or NFS to determine the correct firmware AND flash it.

P.P.S. I have not seen any other software which would give SANE results for them unless you are lucky. And given these things are rarely needed nowadays I don't want to spend days to make one when one can find it by parsing files manually within a minute or two.

For updates there are also other files you can look, but this is the most convenient. And starting from VIN/car options THIS IS THE WAY.
