I'm just wondering if someone may have some knowledge on how to program a new front assist module. We replaced the radar behind the grille on a 2018 VW Tiguan SEL and it appears that it needs to be programmed in order to make the front assist functional. We have a SnapOn Tritan D10 and can access expert mode.

That's a pretty expensive paperweight you've got there for this task!
Unless it have some J2534 (passthru) mode with drivers and can be connected to ODIS - it's useless.

You would need to upload correct dataset to the module - that's the very least, assuming it's got correct firmware inside. If you do not know / cannot get a correct file, you would need to get it from VAG servers - you would need ODIS and a J2534 tool again.

I don't know if your tool have such capability (presumably, not).

I do have a genuine GM MDI 2 interface, which I would assume to be sufficient. Is there a version of ODIS on the forums that would work for that? I would be willing to pay for a subscription but it appears to be a bit more difficult than just paying.
