5eur is enough for basic users, you can always upgrade at random time. In my case i moved to another package and I got charged prorata to inc my existing package.

I dont think this works as expected. The download still will have a quota. You are using the quota from the uploader. Ive been using it for downloading/uploading instead of mega sync. You have the option of using your account for upload/download using your own quota.
