Civic VIII - disabling SRS
Hello
Is it possible to disable SRS system with turning off SRS dtcs on dash panel? Two broken impact sensors and they costs much more than car XD client asking for turning off airbag for his responsibility. Honda UFO 2007 MK8 |

RE: Civic VIII - disabling SRS
cover led in cluster with tape - easiest way
and I dont think sensors will cost more than car itself... in ufos there were problems with wiring AFAIK so you might check this if you didnt done that already. |

Sensor costs 200eur in autorised shop, but... it's not supplied anymore. I've found 2 sensors for 200usd each + shipment. It's about 400-500eur for parts for car with other problems. Car is worth max 2000EUR. Aliexpress got this sensors for 30-40eur each, but i'm not sure whether installing Chinese crash sensors is a good idea. Covering led in cluster is not solution - information is also displayed on LCD display. |
