In my case ISTA/D open in normal mode and on second computer with real license nothing happend

I tell you this , I tried what you did about 9 months ago and it does not work

to edit the reg and config files are not enough, You can start RR and move around the screens but like I said , when you go to read out all data and try some function you get license popup warning and RR not registered.

try it with a RR vin and you will see it . Take photo and post here , I for one would be happy if it works but I know it dosnt in this fashion

I`ve tried to run this mod file and it didn`t work. Just normal ISTA-D starts as I mention before a few posts ago. My question is: does anyone know what exactly that file changes in the system, registries? Can`t find any changes. Just want to delete all these changes as it doesn`t work anyway in case if there is any conflicts with standard ISTA-D after modifying it. Thanks in advance.

in the regeidt it should change BMWGroup to RollsRoyce

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\BMWGroup\ISPI\Rheingold]

he might have also modified the ISTAGUI.exe.config to include RR

If this is what he tired then im 100% sure it doesn't work , like I said I tried this about 9 months ago.


ive just run the Mod.exe and from what I can workout , it makes the above regedit and runs an .exe file called t20612 < This file is 32bit so those with 64bit machines, it wont install correctly...and ....if it does , it still wont work
